Johnsonville Acquires Malaysia-based Meat Products Manufacturer (2020.08)

Johnsonville, the US-based processed meat manufacturer has acquired 100% stake in PimaBaguz from a private equity firm, Ekuinas, at an enterprise value of MYR175M (approximately $41.9 USD). As a manufacturer of over 100 halal-based meat products that sells its products to Malaysia and 11 other countries throughout South Asia and Middle East, Primabaguz allows Johnsonville to expand and strengthen its position in Southeast Asia.
